Cloudformation is very much the same as a terraform but we use it with CDK (Cloud development kit)
Cloudformation allows you to deploy a “formation” in the cloud (IAM, Storage, Athena, Users, etc..etc)
Cloudformation uses .yaml or .json but .YAML is the standard
